Job Posting: Assembly Specialist Location: Exmore, VA
Full-Time Position Reports to: Facilities Director
Job Summary
The Assembly Specialist is responsible for assembling components and finished products in
accordance with company specifications, quality standards, and production schedules. This role
requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow written and verbal
instructions in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
 Assemble parts and products using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment
 Follow work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and standard operating procedures
 Inspect components and finished products to ensure accuracy, quality, and functionality
 Identify, document, and report defects, errors, or equipment malfunctions
 Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all time
 Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards
 Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process eƯiciencies
 Adhere to all safety guidelines, company policies, and regulatory requirements
 Work collaboratively with team members, leads, and supervisors
Qualifications & Skills
 High school diploma or equivalent preferred
 Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production experience is a plus
 Ability to read and understand assembly instructions, drawings, and specifications
 Strong attention to detail and quality
 Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
 Basic math and measurement skills
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Physical Requirements
 Ability to stand for extended periods of time
 Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds
 Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements
 Ability to bend, reach, twist, and work in various positions as required
Work Environment
 Manufacturing or production facility
 May involve exposure to machinery, noise, and moving equipment
 Fast-paced, hands-on work environment
