If you’re like us, Netflix has been a quarantine staple. Our most recent and favorite binge has been Sweet Magnolias where New Ravenna makes two appearances! Starring JoAnna Garcia as Maddie Townsend, Brooke Elliott as Dana Sue Sullivan, Heather Headley as Helen Decatur, Chris Klein as Bill Townsend, and Jamie Lynn Spears as Noreen Fitzgibbons, the show offers “Gilmore Girls” vibes and is charming and binge-able – but still brings the drama! The show follows Maddie, Dana Sue, and Helen, lifelong friends, in the fictional town of Serenity, South Carolina. While juggling relationships, work, family, and life in general, they join together to purchase a historic home that they later renovate into “The Corner Spa.” Above, the three ladies are pictured during the renovation process of the spa.
Jardin de Giverny by Caroline Beaupere is front and center in the foyer of The Corner Spa and gets a lot of screen time. Keep an eye out! Typically, this pattern is done in Carrara, brushed Aluminum, and Brilliant Blue Serenity glass. This time, however, we switched out the Brilliant Blue Serenity Glass for our Cornflower blue Glazed Basalto – one of the first times we’ve used it! Maharaja can be seen in the entryway of Dana Sue’s restaurant, Sullivan’s. This zig-zag pattern is a waterjet mosaic in polished Driftwood and honed Thassos. It is part of the Silk Road Collection by New Ravenna.
