We often find ourselves checking out the “Daily Style Fix” from Livingetc.com. So, you can imagine the excitement when we discovered that Living etc. had done a trending piece on “the cosmos” and included “Astronomy,” a waterjet stone mosaic in honed Cloud Nine and Brass (see below)! As of late, interior designers have been incorporating more and more astronomy and zodiac patterns into their projects. This includes star-strewn plates, galaxy murals, galactic surfaces and cosmic tile work. From twinkly lights, journals and cutlery to mugs, lampshades and tile, Living etc. put together a list of fourteen of their favorite celestial motifs that they’ve seen in design and fashion and we are over the moon to be included!

“Astronomy,” seen above, is part of the Trove Collection from New Ravenna. The six mosaics in this collection capture the layered colors, patterns, shapes, and illusions of texture, found in the night sky. The mosaics portray stars illuminated against the matte edges of darkness and abstract patterns accentuated by gleaming metallics.

The collection is available at New Ravenna showrooms throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Russia, and Dubai.
