The Fall Market Tabloid from Interior Design Magazine is the essential new product resource, a designer’s “must have” for fall. The cover features bold futuristic-looking chairs in a bright red with the words “bold and bubbly.” We can’t think of two better words to describe our very own Cean Irminger, New Ravenna’s creative director, who is featured in the spread along with our Cuesta pattern!
Cean is an artist, designer, and Eastern Shore native who began creating mosaics for New Ravenna more than 20 years ago. Today, she leads the company’s design efforts by finding new materials and guest designers to work with, uncovering new techniques, and designing unique mosaic patterns – many of which have been featured in magazines and installed in luxury buildings and homes around the world. Cean was the driving force behind Femme & Function, a collection of handcrafted mosaics created in celebration of the innovation and artistry of women throughout history. The 20 designs in stone and Glazed Basalto™ were inspired by the legacy of women pioneers in functional art, focusing on five disciplines: quilting, pottery, embroidery, weaving, and textiles.
Our Cuesta mosaic in honed Lagos Gold with polished Silver Sage, Orchid, Indigo, and Snapdragon is included in the Fall Market Tabloid alongside electrical wiring accessories, glazed tiles featuring abstract watercolor interpretations of blooms native to the southwest, fabrics, glass surfaces, and more.
Cean is featured alongside artists like Piero Lissoni from Porro, Suzanne Tick from Skyline, Alejandro Albarran from Room, and others.
