The new issue of Luxe Interiors and Design Magazine includes a gorgeous Santa Monica, California master bathroom with our very own “Granada Grande” floor…and what better way to start out 2019 than by seeing our designs used in such a tasteful space and featured in such a well-respected publication! So many thanks to the talented Christine Markatos of Christine Markatos Design for choosing this Moroccan-inspired pattern in Heavenly Cream, Cloud Nine, Ming Green, Carrara and Thassos.

Christine Markatos Design is a boutique interior design studio specializing in customized residential projects, led by founder Christine Markatos Lowe. The result is a timeless, distinctive point of view tailored specifically to each project and client. Her work has been featured in Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, The Wall Street Journal, The LA Times, Coastal Living, Domino, and, of course, Luxe Interiors and Design!

Our Granada Grande mosaic is part of the Miraflores Collection by Paul Schatz for New Ravenna. This collection was inspired by award-winning interior designer Paul Schatz’s travels throughout Spain, Portugal, and Mexico, his passion for Morocco, and his studies of Islamic geometric art. The hand-crafted mosaics are complex abstractions of classic motifs. Miraflores, which means “to watch flowers” in Spanish, has a storied legacy of palaces, monasteries and neighborhoods in Spain and South America. The mosaics are created in natural stone and can be installed as floors and walls, inside and out.

The luxurious feel lent by the mosaic is only magnified by the Striato Olimpico marble on the walls, the Gracie wallpaper in the background, and a dreamy antique Venetian chandelier in the dressing space. This soothing palette of gray, white and blue sets the backdrop for this awe-inspiring dressing room and we are sure this photo will be shared time and time again throughout the year!
