Caroline Beaupère

Paris-born interior designer Caroline Beaupère grew up in Provence and studied in both France and Germany. With a comprehensive background in industrial and interior design as well as an MBA in international management, she moved to the US in 1997.

Her extensive experience handling high-end commercial and residential projects all over North America for eight years while working with the most exquisite French savoir-faire naturally led her to start her own design studio in New York in 2005.

Her practice was dedicated to her clients’ interiors, expressing her eclectic sensibility in a mix of modern and traditional furnishings. Her experience specifying luxury items and her love for color and high-end materials allowed for a fresh creative palette to re-imagine a space to her clients’ delight.

Her approach to design paid homage to timeless notions of sophistication while introducing modern pieces that create a distinctive yet harmonious environment.

Caroline’s projects took her in many different directions, both geographically and stylistically speaking. From historical brownstones in Brooklyn and modernist lofts in Tribeca to glamorous apartments in Gramercy Park and elegant mansions in Paris, Caroline created fabulous and unique spaces that always reflected each of her clients’ own personality and lifestyle.

She also designed and rejuvenated spaces in iconic buildings throughout NYC, such as the Ansonia, the Apthorp, the Ritz Carlton, and the Grand Hyatt, just to name a few.

Caroline’s attention to detail revealed itself in her signature woodwork and furniture design, making a powerful statement in each of her projects. In addition, her talent extended to stunning product design: her Dune collection featuring dimensional bathtubs and washbasins won a Metropolis and Interior Design Magazine Best of Year Award.

In February 2024 Caroline passed away. The design world and all of us at New Ravenna are richer for having known her. She is greatly missed.
