Hotel Management Magazine featured New Ravenna’s J. Banks Collection by Joni Vanderslice.  The J. Banks Collection combines rich colors and graphic patterns reminiscent of African tribal designs. There are 15 patterns in the collection, with three themes: waves, trellises and palms.These nature inspired mosaic are made of glass tile and consist of polished Thassos, Dolomite, Pacifica and Calacatta Tia, Marcasite, Serpentine, and Quartz.

The collection includes Wings, a hand-chopped stone mosaic that has a modern take on palmetto trees typically found in the American South. Tanzanian Squiggles, a hand-cut glass mosaic was inspired by an antique African skirt and meant to replicate the movement of water. Wimbi, also a hand-cut glass mosaic is Vanderslice’s take on a classic wave and made in Mica, Verdite, and Moonstone. Other patterns in the J. Banks collection include: KubuniTanzanian Trellis, Kiawah Kente, Serengeti Stripe, Maji, Mlima, Mod Palm, and Looking Glass.
